  July19, 2021 Hello everybody!  I hope you all had the greatest week! I know that mine was full of miracle after miracle! We had a couple of really awesome lessons this week! The first was with a lady named April and her kids. We found out that it was actually the 11 year old that wanted to Bible studies with us, not the mom, which completely blew our minds. We gave them a church tour and read with them part of Enos and talked about prayer. We also read some of Alma 32 and talked about how we build our faith, and that it is through small things like praying, reading our scriptures, and going to church. The little girl was so excited to read the Book of Mormon! Kids are the greatest! We are hoping that they will be able to come to church next week! The next lesson we had was with our friend named Stephen. I actually found Stephen on Instagram. I was asking if he knew of anyone needing prayers and he said he could use some for guidance!  July 12, 2021 Hello everybody! We got transfer news on Saturday and Sister Cook and I get to stay together in Vero for another 6 weeks! Woot woot! Our fire is back and we are ready to hit the ground running this week!  Our big focus recently has been on member missionary work and this week we began to see the miracles that come from it. We have our Ukrainian chocolatier friend we are teaching and we felt really inspired to ask this one lady in our ward to come with us. Well, in the hour we were there we barely said anything because they hit it off so well! Turns out this member is part Ukrainian, they grew up in the same area, they both work with special needs kids, and they would both make jokes about the things their husbands do similarly. It was amazing to see how perfect they were for one another and we felt so grateful that she is who God led us to.  And then on Sunday, crazy miracle! We ended up having TWO people come to church!!   July 5, 2021 Hello everybody!  I hope you all had a great 4th of July!  Well this week was full of some pretty amazing lessons! Which was good for us, because the week before we didn't end up teaching once the entire week!  We had a lesson with one of our friends named Jordan.   We have been trying to help him gain a testimony of the Book of Mormon and so he has been reading on his own and then we read with him when we meet. This last week, we invited him to say the closing prayer and to ask if it was true and then to sit and ponder and listen for the answer. We probably sat there, arms folded and eyes closed, for a good 5 minutes before he was finished. We asked him how he was feeling, and he said he felt like he heard some things. Jun 21, 2021 Hello everybody!! What a week! Nothing better than being a missionary! We had a super awesome lesson with one of our people this week! We went in just planning on teaching her the Restoration, but we ended up teach her the Restoration AND the Plan of Salvation. All of her questions just perfectly led into it and the Spirit was definitely guiding that discussion because we had not prepared for that! It was also really cool because she was telling us things like "that makes sense. This is either true or it isn't. So I am going to go and pray and find out for myself." Literally the best thing for a missionary! We promised her that if she follows the invitation in Moroni 10 , that she would receive her answer.  Jun 14, 2021 From Sister Cook: "Hi everyone!!!! Sister Wixom here!!!! Loving life in Vero Beach FL☀️🏖🤪❤  This week was a wild one. Lemme break it down for ya!  MONDAY!!! Sister Cook and I decided to bounce from the district day and make our own party fun time adventure! Our friend dropped us a pin at a random spot on the map and we ended up at a cute little box library! We dropped off a Book of Mormon in exchange for a SUSHI BOOK(((: Then we stopped by Teresa's chocolate shop to say hi!!! Then we went to Gifford park and talked to the CUTEST KIDS.  June 7, 2021                   Hello everybody!!! So much has happened this week, it is a little overwhelming! It's a good place to be as a missionary! I got transferred! I was super sad to leave Narcoossee. I had been there for 6 months and I had met so many amazing people that hold a special place in my heart now. I am now in Vero Beach and it is the cutest little town! My new companion is Sister Cook, and she also speaks Japanese! We are planning on being fluent by the end of this transfer so we are going to be working hard!! So my second day here in Vero we decided to message a whole  bunch of the people in our area book. I guess they haven't been able to get in contact with a lot of them recently, but on Wednesday everyone was wanting to meet with us!
