It rained a lot this week

Hello everybody!

We got transfer news on Saturday and Sister Cook and I get to stay together in Vero for another 6 weeks! Woot woot! Our fire is back and we are ready to hit the ground running this week!

Our big focus recently has been on member missionary work and this week we began to see the miracles that come from it. We have our Ukrainian chocolatier friend we are teaching and we felt really inspired to ask this one lady in our ward to come with us. Well, in the hour we were there we barely said anything because they hit it off so well! Turns out this member is part Ukrainian, they grew up in the same area, they both work with special needs kids, and they would both make jokes about the things their husbands do similarly. It was amazing to see how perfect they were for one another and we felt so grateful that she is who God led us to.

And then on Sunday, crazy miracle! We ended up having TWO people come to church!! Woot woot! One we were able to introduce to a couple in the ward, that again is so similar. The other, James, walked in and we hadn't decided who we thought would be a good friend for him and he was just kind of sitting to the side by himself and then one of our recent converts was all like "why don't you come sit with us!" We could see them laughing and explaining things during the Sacrament. We have been told things will start to happen as we get members involved and I think we are starting to see the incredible miracles that come from it!

Another story with our friend James. We were able to talk with him a little after church and he told us that when he was in Minneapolis two girls just like us talked with him and wouldn't stop talking to him until he went to church. And then he told us this was the church he had gone to back then! He said "I think God is trying to tell me something because I am trying to get my life back" It gave me the chills when he said that. And he told us he is planning on coming again next week with his sister!

God is so good and there are so many who are ready to hear the gospel and so many who are ready to have sacred missionary opportunities.
