Sister Cook takeover!

This week was a wild one. Lemme break it down for ya! 



MONDAY!!! Sister Cook and I decided to bounce from the district day and make our own party fun time adventure! Our friend dropped us a pin at a random spot on the map and we ended up at a cute little box library! We dropped off a Book of Mormon in exchange for a SUSHI BOOK(((: Then we stopped by Teresa's chocolate shop to say hi!!! Then we went to Gifford park and talked to the CUTEST KIDS. We were so impressed by their faith. They wanted to talk to us about God for hours. We even made a handshake(': 





TUESDAY!!!! We had so many lessons which we were SO grateful for!!!! Started with a Bible study with April and her kids, service for Brother Thomas, then a lesson with Ken (we'll talk about this one later), a video call with our friend Kuan, then dinner with our friend Rebecca, then a lesson with our recent convert Natalie! OK SO KEN. Basically we thought he was a MIRACLE. He told us he read most of the BoM, and was related to the Cowderys. Then we met with him and he talked the WHOLE TIME about his 500 page manuscript he wrote about Daniel and Revelations. And how he wants us to help him build his audience. BIG RIP. 


WEDNESDAY THURSDAY FRIDAY AND SATURDAY AND SUNDAY!!!! Taught Jordan and he's gonna pray about the BoM! Helped Teresa cut her palm trees! District Council! Dinner with the Escamillas! Had exchanges and taught Dale and George! Had dinner at the Doyle's and talked with their friends Tammy and David! And caught some talapia(: WATCHED AN EPIC LIGHTNING STORM. District service painting Teresa's chocolate shop! Dinner at the Ahlstroms! Ken came to church....heh.... Dinner at the Johnsons, accidental/on purpose tracting, street contacting, and reading the BoM with Deni!! 



Ok that's our week folks!!!! Pretty wild!!! Also my comp Sister Cook is super crazy and we have a lot of fun together and we are both ISFJ's so naturally we are good friends. Also I'm going to get her some chocolate!!!!!"


Coolest thing from this week was yesterday with our accidental tracting. Brother Johnson had given us a name of a guy who lived in an apartment complex. When we went, him and his wife were there but said they were getting ready to leave tomorrow (which is today) to go and travel in their RV until October. So kinda crazy we stopped by! Then we were all like "do we knock on any other doors?" So we prayed and both felt like we should go to 404. Well we knocked and no one answered, but there were people sitting outside a few doors down so we were able to talk with them and ended up leaving 404 a note. We were like "should we do anymore" and I was all like "306?" and Sister Cook was all like "No way! That's what I was thinking!" Well no one answered there either, but we left a note in a Book of Mormon. It was one of those experiences where we didn't see the outcome, but it was really amazing to see the Spirit guiding both of us.

3-Jordan knows his ants. 

4-Chocolate covered sunflower seeds come in many colors when Teresa makes them. 

5-Ukeirerareru is really hard to say still. 


6-Sister Cook reminds people of wobbuffet. 

7-Lightning makes the best entertainment. 

8-Sister Cook and Sister Curtis are easily mixed up. 

9-Cody is baby and Colten is bad dog. 

10- ALWAYS FOLLOW YOUR BINGS!


It was a full week for sure! I love you all!

 December 5, 2020 Hello everybody! So many good things have happened recently! There are miracles all around us, God is so good!! Last weekend I had the chance to go to the temple with my companion, Tu'ineau shimai! She had invited me to go with her when she went through the temple, and of course I said yes. It was such a special experience to 1-be in the temple again and 2-meet my MTC companion in person.  I love the temple, it has always been a special place for me. Over the last year, my testimony and love for the temple has grown so much through the experiences I have had. One of the hardest things recently, is not being able to feel the peace that the temple brings me. Our teachers have encouraged us to make a place in our home our very own temple while all the temples are closed. A place that we can go to feel peace and close to God.  Sep 6, 2021, 2021 Hello everybody!  This week was miracle after miracle after miracle! It was amazing and an absolute amazing reminder of how incredible it is to be a missionary.  3 news  So throughout the week we have time set apart that we find people to teach. We will either look on social media, talk to members, go through our area book. All sorts of thing. Well...in a normal week for us we maybe find 1 or 2 new people. On Tuesday last week, we found 3 new people! By the end of the week we had a total of 5! There are so many people that have been prepared.  Saved contacts We decided we were going to contact a bunch of people one night and I had the thought to call Liz. Well...when I looked Liz up in our area book to get her number it wasn't there! Sometimes, if a person hasn't shown interest in a really really long time, their record will get deleted. November 8, 2021 Hello everybody! How are y'all doing? How was your week? Because mine was all over the place! We had so many miracles when it came to member meals this week! Our favorite was definitely when this couple invited us to go to the temple with them! So background, Sister Blanchard is going to France next Monday and she really wanted to go to the temple before she left. We called President Ashcraft and he said there wasn't any way we could just go. So we had been praying and praying that there would be a reason we could go to the temple. Then we go to this member meal and we get talking about the temple. Turns out, the wife has been asking and asking people if they could go and everyone kept turning her down. So now, we get to go! And to make it even better, when we asked President Ashcraft about it, he encouraged us to take a recent convert with us and we just happen to have a friend named Angel who has never been!
