March 22, 2021 Hello everybody! It had been a little "cold" the last few days here in Florida, meaning it was in the 60s. Everyone is out wearing their jackets, meanwhile Sister Crandell and I think it is the most perfect weather outside, meanwhile Southern Utah gets snow in March! I don't even know what to think anymore! Sister Crandell and I got to give a training this week during district council on personal revelation. I love learning about personal revelation and how to receive it. Sometimes personal revelation can be seen as just receiving answers to questions. but it is so much more! Personal revelation can be comforted, guidance, or a witness of truth! I love that President Nelson has put such a strong emphasis on personal revelation by asking how we "Hear Him". In one of his conference talks he says, "I promise that as you continue to be obedient, expressing gratitude for every blessing the Lord gives you, and as you patiently honor the Lord’s time...

March 15, 2021 Hello everybody!! I hope you all had an amazing week and ate some pie for pi day yesterday! This week we had a couple of pretty amazing lessons and trainings! There are always new things to learn in the gospel! At District Council this week, an Elder gave a training on charity. He focused on why we as missionaries should have a desire to have charity for those around us. He shared with us 1 Corinthians 13:2  "2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing."  I love that! I love that charity is the most important thing for us to have. I have seen as my charity for those I am serving has grown so much! We talked a lot about how as we learn to love and have charity for those we meet, we can know the exact things that will help them grow closer to Christ and Heavenly Father. Charity is the most important thing! We also had a ...

March 8, 2021   Hello everybody!!   I hope you all had an amazing week, because I know I sure did! Saturday we found out about transfers. Sister Crandell and I are staying together here in Narcoossee!! We are pumped and ready to have an amazing transfer. So many good things are happening here, so I am glad neither of us are leaving. We are expecting to see lots of miracles this transfer, so buckle up and get ready!!  Page got baptized yesterday!! It was such a special day. She got up and bore her testimony during Sacrament meeting, and the Spirit was so strong!! I haven't known her for very long, but what I do know, is that she is so prepared. In a lot of our meeting yesterday, we talked about how it is small things over time that help people draw closer to Christ. We may not always see the effect our actions have, but they do have an impact. The guy that gave Page her Book of Mormon a year ago was at her baptism and he was so happy!! I don't know if he though...

Spiritual Overload!

March 1, 2021 Hello everybody!! We had some pretty awesome experiences this week! On Monday we had a lesson with a lady named Page. She is so crazy prepared to hear the gospel. We have been teaching her since the end of January and closer to the start of February we asked her to pray about a baptismal date. We hadn't been able to meet with her for a couple of weeks, but then she decided she was going to meet no matter what. We talked about her baptismal date and she said she wants to be baptized on March 7!! Everything we talk with her about from the Restoration to The Plan of Salvation to the commandments, she loves and wants to know more!! We are so excited for her to be baptized!! On Wednesday during District Council, a set of Sisters gave a training on the Book of Mormon. They had each of us go around and share a scripture from the Book of Mormon that meant something to us. What I absolutely loved was that each of us had a different scripture to share and with each one,...

February 15, 2021 Hello everybody! I hope you all had a wonderful Valentine's Day and you were able to feel of all the love your Heavenly Father and Savior have for you! This week was a little all over the place, which is pretty much every week! Lots of little things to be learned or reminded of! 1- Sister Crandell is very good at air hockey and I am not very good. 2- Thunderstorms in Florida are amazing!! The lightning and rain is incredible! Only problem, it is so humid afterwards! 3- McDonald's sundaes can solve most missionary problems. 4- Chihuahuas are fast dogs. We had one run into our house this week, TWICE, and he was a fast little thing. 5- Soup at the lakefront tastes way better than soup at home. Especially when you can see the sunset while you are eating it. 6- Chocolate mint plants smell AND taste pretty yummy. 7- Make sure that the top of your trail mix bag is closed otherwise you will have half of the bag on the ground when you shake it. ...

Feb 8, 2:44 Hello everybody!!  I hope you all had a full week because I sure did! On Tuesday Sister Crandell and I invited someone to be baptized!! This lady is incredible!! A member brought her to church 3 weeks ago and she had a Book of Mormon and had started reading it! When we taught her the Restoration, she already knew about Joseph Smith and the First Vision and thought it was amazing! We taught her the Plan of Salvation and had asked her to read Alma 40-42 but she wanted to start from the beginning so she read 40 chapters of Alma in a week! When we asked her about it, she said she loved the part when Alma baptized all the people! When we talked about repentance, she let us know that she had given up coffee a week before that because she felt like it was the right thing to do! When we asked her to pray about baptism, she was all for it! It is amazing to see what can happen when we reach out and share the gospel with our friends. If it hadn't been for that first member, ...

I am learning!

Feb 1, 2021 Hello everybody!! And Happy February! This week was kind of all over the place and I don't think I remember most of it! But there were a lot of things I learned this week!  1- You can eat just about anything with a spoon, and small spoons are way better than regular sized spoons.  2- I love starfruit and peaches and I don't love papaya, unless it's in a milkshake.  3- Sister Crandell and I both wish the nacho fries from Taco Bell were not limited time.  4- Going on walks is essential when you are doing missionary work during COVID. 5- We can do three 300 piece and one 500 piece Star Wars puzzles in three days.  6- Volunteering in the front of the Bishop's storehouse is not as fun as being in the back.  7- When you remember a rocket launch is going to happen there is a good chance it is going to get postponed.  8- Fasting is a sacrifice that can help bring miracles and blessings into our lives. 9- We may not be able to see the progress...
