We all bought legos

 December 13, 2021

Hello everybody!

This week was very very good!

We had interviews with President Ashcraft this last week and they went really well! It always seems like he knows just what I need to hear. He shared with me some verses from Alma 48 when Captain Moroni is being described.

17 Yea, verily, verily I say unto you, if all men had been, and were, and ever would be, like unto Moroni, behold, the very powers of hell would have been shaken forever; yea, the devil would never have power over the hearts of the children of men.

18 Behold, he was a man like unto Ammon, the son of Mosiah, yea, and even the other sons of Mosiah, yea, and also Alma and his sons, for they were all men of God.

19 Now behold, Helaman and his brethren were no less serviceable unto the people than was Moroni; for they did preach the word of God, and they did baptize unto repentance all men whosoever would hearken unto their words.

He focused on how it says that the others were no less serviceable. Meaning that we all have talents and gifts that can help others come closer to Christ. Does that mean that some are better than others, nope! We are all here to support and lift one another. I really appreciated that.

We also put our friend Joe on date for baptism this week! We taught him about the gospel and when we talked about baptism and what it was, he said it was like accepting God and showing that you want to follow Him. We said that is exactly what it is, and then Joe said "I want to do that"! So cool! Joe is a good example to me of how the Lord can use our trials to bless us and grow in the gospel.

And.....Paris got baptized yesterday! It was such a good service and she was so happy! Her story is incredible, and I was so grateful I got to be a part of it. When we asked her how she felt, she said very excited and very happy. Another good example to me of the people that the Lord has prepared to accept the gospel. Paris has such a natural desire to follow God and the Spirit that I honestly didn't have to do much to help her prepare.

We are trying to get Sister Seppi all ready before she leaves this Thursday to go home! She requested gator for lunch and building Legos for her last pday in Florida. All I can say is mission accomplished. We did it!

I hope you all have an amazing week and remember to look for ways to reach out to those around you!
